China Bitumen Demand to Reach 30.8 Million Tons in 2019

The total demand volume of bitumen in Chinais predicted to reach 30.8 million tons in 2019. The bitumen export volume is expectedto be around 0.8 million tons, and the domestic consumption volume will bearound 30 million tons. Some state-owned refineries raise their export volumeof bitumen. Sinopec Maoming Company exported 0.2159 million tons of bitumen used in road construction in the first nine months of 2018, up 92.94% from thesame period of 2017. Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemical, Sinopec Zhenhai Refining and Chemical and Sinopec Jinling Company alsohad some bitumen for exports.
