Binhua Starts C3&C4 Project Construction
According to sources, Shandong Binhua New Material recently started the construction of C3&C4 Comprehensive Utilization Project. In 2020, China’s PDH capacity will scale up with newly added projects being put into operation.
On August 5, 2020, the construction of the phase I PDH project at Fujian Meide Petrochemical was completed, and the unit would be put into test run. According to SCI’s statistics, the first batch of refrigerated resources purchased by Fujian Meide Petrochemical arrived in November 2019, and the company arranged most resources as civil-use gas and sold to surrounding markets.
The C3&C4 Comprehensive Utilization Project at Shandong Binhua New Material is located in Binzhou Port-Surrounding High-End Petrochemical Industrial Park, Beihai Economic Development Zone, Binzhou City, Shandong Province, and its major units include a 600kt/a PDH unit, an 800kt/a butane isomerization unit, a 300kt/a PO (with co-production of 780kt/a TBA) unit, a 150kt/a synthetic ammonia unit and other auxiliary facilities.
