The construction of the second phase of Zhejiang Petroleum & Chemical has been started, and the CDUs and two ethylene units are under installation. The units will raise China’s PX self-sufficiency degree and ethylene self-sufficiency degree by 20% and 10% respectively. Meanwhile, the third phase is under preparation and is designed to produce high added value fine chemical products.
The first phase of ZPC has been put into production and has processed 9,700kt of crude oil since its start-up and has brought 31.2 billion RMB of production value.
