Oct China HCBR Operating Rate Increased
In October, there were 17 China’s HCBR producers being investigated, with a total capacity of 1,402kt/a. Therein, 7 produces were in North China, 3 in East China, 2 in South China, 2 in Northeast China, 2 in Northwest China, and 1 in Southwest China.
The average operating rate of HCBR industry in October was 75.21%, up 3.79% M-O-M and up 16.8% Y-O-Y. The operating rate at state-owned HCBR enterprises rose by 4.29% M-O-M, and that at private HCBR enterprises rose by 4.49% M-O-M. The reasons were as follows: As for the state-owned enterprises, PetroChina Jinzhou Petrochemical shut HCBR unit down for maintenance from October 10 to October 14. As for the private HCBR enterprises, Shandong Wanda Chemical shut HCBR unit down for maintenance from September 30 to October 9, and Hipro New Material Technology shut the unit down on October 23. Other HCBR units were basically under stable production. On the whole, the average operating rate of HCBR industry in October increased from last month.
