China Crude Processing Volume over 61 Million mt in Jul
According to SCI, the crude oil processing volume by Chinese refineries was 61.0075 million mt in July, up 6.08% month-on-month and up 17.89% from the same period of last year. In the first seven months of 2020, Chinese refineries’ crude oil processing volume was 373.1952 million mt.
In July, PetroChina Jinxi Petrochemical and PetroChina Ningxia Petrochemical shut down all units for maintenance, while PetroChina Dalian Petrochemical and Sinopec Tianjin Company resumed production. The average operating rate of state-owned refineries increased in July.
The statistics of Chinese refineries’ crude oil processing volume covers 141 refineries with the total CDUs capacity of 908.33 million mt/a, covering 94% of China’s total CDUs capacity.
