According to GACC, the NBR import volume was 8,260.70mt in May 2021, up 16.46% M-O-M but down 16.88% Y-O-Y. The total import volume from January to May was 40,354.46mt, up 12.27% Y-O-Y.

According to GACC’s statistics, China mainly imported NBR from South Korea, Russia and Japan. China’s NBR import volume from South Korea was 3,424.83mt, and that from Russia and Japan was 2,296.98mt and 837.46mt respectively. This month, the dealing atmosphere in the NBR market weakened, and the prices of Chinese-made goods decreased. Therefore, the prices of imported goods followed the decline, which stimulated the procurement of NBR. In H2 of June, the imported resources were basically sold out, and there was no USD offer.
