Zhenhai Refining & Chemical, located in Ningbo city as China’s state-owned Sinopec’s largest RCC, has commissioned its first hydrogen filling station, Sinopec announced on July 8.
The refuelling capacity of the station can reach up to 500 kg/day. It will use the refinery's surplus blue hydrogen as raw material. Sinopec said the station can fully meet the demand of the refinery’s internal fleet of hydrogen-powered vehicles.
Zhenhai Refinery has a total hydrogen production capacity of 360,000 cbm/h. After the hydrogen balance of the whole plant, it can deliver 25,000 cbm/h, Sinopec said. The refinery is planning to build Zhejiang province’s largest hydrogen refuelling station in the near future.
