ABS Weekly Inventory Index Increased

On June 3, the ABS inventory index was 74.42, up 1.71 from last week (73.71). This week, the new orders at producers increased, while downstream enterprises didn’t pick up their goods timely, leading to a slight inventory building.
According to SCI, this week, the average operating rate at ABS producers was around 97.48%, up 0.30% from last week (97.18%). Most ABS enterprises ran their units at high loads. After Tianjin Dagu Chemical raised the operating rates of its ABS units, they were running steadily. In addition, some large-scaled enterprises shut down their units for cleaning in succession, while it exerted limited impacts on the output.
