Jul Expects Increase in ESBR Operating Rate
Up to the end of June 2021, China’s ESBR producers amounted to 11, with a capacity of 1,470kt/a. The samples cover all ESBR producers in China.
The monthly average operating rate of China’s ESBR industry was 67.32% in June, down 0.68% M-O-M and down 2.46% Y-O-Y, mainly as the operating rate at PetroChina Jilin Petrochemical and PetroChina Lanzhou Petrochemical declined. The operating rate at PetroChina Fushun Petrochemical increased. On the whole, the monthly average operating rate of China’s ESBR industry inched down in June.
In June, PetroChina Jilin Petrochemical and Hangzhou Yibang Rubber shut the units down for maintenance, so their operating rates declined greatly from last month. Besides, the operating rate at Shen Hua Chemical Industrial and PetroChina Lanzhou Petrochemical inched down from last month. That at PetroChina Fushun Petrochemical increased from last month. That at Sinopec Qilu Company, Nanjing Yangzi Petrochemical and Rubber, Zhejiang Vitile Rubber and Bridgestone (Huizhou) Synthetic Rubber was stable M-O-M. The units at Tianjin Lugang Petroleum Rubber and Fujian Fuxiang Chemical remained shut.
