China’s rising SBR import volume in March

According to SCI’s statistics, in March 2021, China’s SBR import volume was 44.3kt, up 56.79% M-O-M, and up 33.08% Y-O-Y. From January to March 2021, China’s SBR import volume totaled 111.6kt, up about 22.62% Y-O-Y. As the shipments were delayed due to the tight maritime transport earlier, the arrivals were concentrated, which was predicted to continue in Q2, 2021.
China’s import volume of South Korea-origin SBR ranked first in March.
