Feb ABS Downstream Demand Recovered Slowly
In H2 February, the demand from ABS downstream enterprises recovered slowly.
According to SCI, the operating rates at some large-scale modified ABS enterprises were around 60%-70%, which are mainly matching feedstock producers for home appliances, automobiles, computers and some electronic products. Those at some large-scale home appliance enterprises, which are mainly exporting bread makers, coffer makers and toasters, were 65%; those at some large-scale toy enterprises focusing on domestic market were around 60%; those at toy enterprises focusing on exports were 70%. Those at some air conditioner enterprises were 60%-65%. Those at some refrigerator enterprises were around 60%. Those at some washing machine enterprises were 60%-70%.
Most downstream industries haven’t returned to the normal level of production.
