South Korea's Styrene Exports Shrank in Q1, 2018

South Korea exported about 1,262kt of styrene resources in 2017, with the monthly average export volume at 105.2kt. The monthly export volume in the first three quarters of 2018 averaged at 64.3kt, down 38.88% compared with the monthly average export volume in 2017. 

Affected by anti-dumping, the export volume of styrene from South Korea to China shrank notably. The export volume to China was 22.7kt in March. It is predicted that the monthly average export volume of styrene from South Korea to China will be no more than 30kt in the future. The export volume to Hong Kong, China grew in line with anti-dumping duty free.
