Production & Sales of New Energy Automobile Surged in H1, 2018

According to China Automobile Industry Association, the production and sales of auto in June decreased slightly M-O-M but inched up Y-O-Y. From January to June 2018, the production and sales saw steady increases in every month. The growth rate of production was higher than that from January to May, but the growth rate of sales was lower.

The production and sales of auto continued to go up Y-O-Y.

The production and sales of passenger car rallied Y-O-Y.

In June, passenger car production was significantly higher than the sales, and it has been four consecutive months that the production exceeded sales.

The sales of commercial car increased M-O-M.

The production and sales of new energy automobile jumped Y-O-Y.
