Shaanxi-Beijing Pipeline Has Transported 38.77 bcm Gas in 2018

CNPC Pipeline Group Beijing Branch said on November 26 that the accumulated transportation volume of the Shaanxi-Beijing Pipeline in 2018 reached 38.77 bcm, 0.115 bcm higher than the 2017 annual transportation volume. Shaanxi-Beijing Pipeline finished the 2017 transportation volume 35 days earlier in 2018.

This heating season, CNPC increased the supply to 2+26 cities and Fen-Wei Plain, the main clean heating areas in the North. CNPC’s gas supply to the seven provinces/cities of Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, Shandong, Henan, Shaanxi increased by 2.75 bcm Y-O-Y, taking up 85% of the CNPC’s supply increase. The 2018 planned transportation volume of Shaanxi-Beijing Pipeline, which is in charge of the winter supply to Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi and Shaanxi, is 44.785 bcm, up 6.13 bcm than the total transportation volume in 2017. Besides, CNPC Pipeline Group Beijing Branch is promoting the construction of the Togtoh Compressor Station of Shaanxi-Beijing Pipeline IV. The station is planned to be put into operation on November 30, 2018, increasing the transportation capacity of the Shaanxi-Beijing Pipeline by 14 mn cbm per year.
