According to SCI, it is learned that some polyolefin units have been shut down, restricted by the transport. At MRPL in India, the 440kt/a PP production line has been shut down. The 680kt/a PP production line at Indian Oil Corporation has also been shut down. Indian Opal has cut the operating rates of its HDPE and LLDPE units. India Reliance Industries still keeps normal production temporarily. In the later period, China’s PP market will suffer fewer impacts from Indian PP resources.
