Sinopec Crude Reserve Base in Xinjiang Started Construction
The construction of Sinopec’s crude oil reserve base in Kuche (Xinjiang) has been started recently, and it is Sinopec’s first crude oil reserve base in Xinjiang. The total storage capacity of the reserve base is 800,000cbm, and the construction of the project is scheduled to finish at the end of the year.
In recent years, Sinopec built crude oil commercial reserve bases in Tianjin, Luoyang, Maoming, Zhanjiang, Yueyang, etc. The construction of crude oil commercial reserves promotes China’s economic development and improves refineries’ crude oil supply network, and it plays an important role in ensuring China’s energy safety.
