PDH Unit at Zhejiang Petrochemical Produced Qualified Propylene
According to sources, the 600kt/a PDH unit at Zhejiang Petrochemical has produced qualified propylene products, but the unit operating rate was not high.
At present, Zhejiang Petrochemical can produce propylene via three technologies. Therein, the propylene capacity via gas separation unit is 200kt/a, and that via steam cracker is 700kt/a, totally matching with the 900kt/a PP granule unit. Moreover, the 600kt/a PDH unit is matched with a 260kt/a acrylonitrile unit and a 250kt/a acetone unit. The acrylonitrile unit has been put into operation, and the acetone unit will be put into use soon. Most propylene resources produced by PDH unit will be arranged for the matched downstream units, and only a small amount of propylene resources will be supplied to the market.
