Jovo Delivers First Cargo as PipeChina Carrier
According to sources, Jovo Energy delivered a full-size 64,000 kt LNG cargo to PipeChina’s Yangpu Terminal on November 17, 2020 by Methane Shirley Elisabeth from Ichthys, Australia. It is the first cargo under PipeChina’s newly introduced natural gas carrier system, which PipeChina opened registration in October 2020 and finished with over 950 registered entities in 20 days.
PipeChina had released the transparent policy regarding business under its coverage, and it is believed the cargo Jovo delivered is also under this pricing guidance, which is set to be RMB 0.263/cbm for regas and truck loading, and RMB 0.06/cbm for storage, summed up to RMB 0.323/cbm in total with VAT. Worth to mention that in the pricing of terminal service, CNOOC’s Dapeng terminal was listed as a third-party open-up terminal instead of PipeChina’s own assets, while CNPC’s Dalian terminal was not listed as CNPC postponed the delivery of the terminal to 2021.
