Guanghui Qidong to Regas from Nov 26
According to sources, Guanghui Energy Group’s Qidong LNG receiving terminal, located in East China’s Jiangsu province, has set everything on standby for its regas facility and is scheduled to kick off the regas running from November 26, 2020. The filling progress will start from the date, and from December 2, the terminal will embrace its stable commercial regas output to provide piped gas to Jiangsu’s provincial grid.
The 160-kilometer 4 bcm annual capacity Qi-Tong pipeline connects to surrounding gas power plants and Nantong city gas grid, and Qidong terminal will reach the actual 3 Mtpa receiving capacity. Moreover, the terminal put its fifth tank with 200,000 cbm storage capacity into field construction from this May, and the company hopes to put it into operation by 2021.
By then, with all four phases accomplished, Guanghui Qidong terminal will achieve 5 Mtpa receiving capacity and 620,000 cubic meters of storage capacity from five tanks. With the support of top-of-the-state truck loading sales and the newly added regas direct supply to industrial users and Nantong city, it is believed this terminal will play an increasingly important part in East China’s LNG market.
