Low Loads at PVC Paste Glove Enterprise to Reflect Limited Orders
China’s PVC glove industry performed weakly in May, so the orders of PVC paste glove materials stayed limited. PVC paste glove product enterprises maintained low operating rates, to reflect soft demand for glove materials.
By tracking and monitoring 20 PVC paste glove enterprises, their average operating rate was below 30% in May. Therein, the operating rates at large-sized sample enterprises averaged 22%, those at medium-sized sample enterprises averaged 38% and those at small-sized sample enterprises averaged 17%.
Between March and April, China’s PVC paste glove product enterprises ran units at reduced operating rates, which dropped below 40% in April. But the operating rate continued falling below 30% in May. At present, most PVC paste glove enterprises present that their orders remain scant. They maintained limited purchases of glove materials because their previous feedstock inventories have not been consumed completely.
