In February, the average operating rate of China’s IIR industry was 48.00%, down 32.35% M-O-M. (Remarks: The calculation of operating rate did not consider the new capacity of Shandong Chambroad Sinopoly New Material)
3. China IIR Output
It was estimated that China’s IIR output was 13,800mt in February. Thereinto, the output of regular IIR was 0mt as there was no domestic IIR unit producing regular IIR, and that of HIIR was 13,800mt.
4. Forecast
Sinopec Yanshan Petrochemical Company plans to conduct production in H2 of March; Panjin Cenway New Materials will conduct maintenance in H1 of March and resume production in H2 of March; the 70kt/a new unit at Shandong Chambroad Sinopoly New Material will start production, and the old unit will start maintenance. China’s domestic IIR output will increase in March.
