China's PP Units Status

Preface

The turnarounds of PP units in November were sparse in China, so the amount of loss caused by maintenance decreased obviously in November than that in October. The amount of loss caused by maintenance will continue decreasing in December.

Due to the maintenance, the output of PP decreased by around 186kt in November, while that decreased by around 248.6kt in October. Only units at Sinopec Hainan Refining and Chemical Company as well as Oriental Energy New Material (Ningbo) and the old line at North Huajin Tongda Chemical Industries underwent maintenance as planned.

There will be less turnarounds plans inDecember. It is heard that there is no turnaround plan in December except for Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical. Thus, the loss of outputcaused by maintenance will decrease.
