Shandong Independent Refineries’ Operating Rates Dropping

According to SCI, the average operating rate of CDUs at Shandong independent refineries was 55.40% as of July 11, down 3.82% week-on-week.

Dongying Lianhe Petrochemical shut down its units for maintenance this week. In addition, one refinery in the west of Shandong Province shut down some of its units for maintenance. All in all, the average operating rate of CDUs at Shandong independent refineries continued slipping.

In the next week, no scheduled units’ maintenance will be seen at the independent refineries. Binyang Petrochemical and Anbang Petrochemical will restart their units next week. At the end of July, some independent refineries will finish their units’ maintenance. Accordingly, the average operating rate of CDUs at Shandong independent refineries will rebound.
