National Key R&D Plan to Enhance Quality of Agricultural Film

In recently, news came from the Changchun Yinghua Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) that the state key research and development project: the low-cost manufacturing technology and industrialization of agricultural covering materials with adjustable functions and life span, has made a number of important progress.

The new type of shed plastic film and mulching film developed by the project can effectively replace the imported high-end agricultural film, which can enhance the independent innovation ability and international competitiveness of China’s agricultural film industry.

It is reported that the results of this project have been recommended as the ten major technical progress of key basic material technology promotion and industrialization.
