China Petrol Stations Enjoying Higher Profits

International crude oil prices arefluctuating downwards, and it is predicted that China’s retail ceiling pricesof gasoline and diesel will be reduced by the National Development and ReformCommission again in the next price adjustment cycle. But the wholesale pricesof gasoline and diesel are slipping faster than the retail prices. Therefore,the petrol stations are enjoying more profits actually at present.

On November 7, the average wholesale price of 92Ron gasoline at state-owned groups was RMB 8,783/mt, and the retail price wasRMB 1,376/mt higher than the wholesale price. The average wholesale price of 0#diesel was RMB 7,794/mt, and the retail price was RMB 746/mt higher than thewholesale price. In the meantime, the average wholesale price of 92 Rongasoline at Shandong independent refineries was RMB 7,691/mt.
