China Hydrogenated Residue Output Increased in Nov

According to SCI, China’s hydrogenated residue output was 3,741kt in November, down 1.88% month-on-month but up 5.12% year-on-year. From January to November in 2018, China’s hydrogenated residue output was 38,982.4kt, up 9.87% year-on-year.

Hydrogenated residue is mainly used as feedstock of FCC units, but with the promotion of low sulphur marine fuel oil, the hydrogenated residue can be used as a component to blend low sulphur marine fuel oil.
