Zhejiang Hongji Petrochemical to Build 450kt/a PDH Unit
According to sources, the 450kt/a PDH unit set up by Zhejiang Hongji Petrochemical and Shanghai Huayi New Material has passed the environmental impact assessment of Zhejiang Environmental Protection Agency.
Project name: Zhejiang Huahong New Material 450kt/a PDH Project
Major unit: 450kt/a PDH unit; 6*3,000m3 propylene sphere tanks; 4*5000m3 propane sphere tanks and 2*500m3 C4 sphere tanks
Investment: 2,275.04 million RMB
Location: East of Zheneng New Energy Jiaxing Port New Material Park
The 450kt/a PDH unit will use the Oleflex technology from UOP, and the project mainly includes Oleflex reaction compression unit, continuous catalytic regeneration unit (CCR), product refining unit, PSA unit and desiccant regeneration unit.
The feedstock of the PDH unit will be purchased from Oriental Energy. According to the agreement, the sulphur content of propane must be controlled below 30ppm, the water content should be controlled below 10ppm, and the mercury content should be controlled below 1ppb.
