Independent Refineries Gasoline & Diesel Output Increased in Dec

International crude oil prices went down inDecember, and the refining margins at independent refineries dropped sharply.Therefore, some independent refineries ran their units at low operating rates.But some independent refineries finished their units’ maintenance in December,such as Shenchi Chemical and DongyingPetrochemical. All in all, the gasoline and diesel output at independentrefineries in Shandong Province went up in December.

The coming Spring Festival holiday will pushup the market demand for gasoline and diesel, and no refineries are expected toconduct units’ maintenance in January. In addition, several refineries plan toconclude their units’ maintenance and restart their units. All in all, thegasoline and diesel output at the independent refineries in Shandong Provincewill continue increasing in January.
