According to Sinopec News, Sinopec Jiujiang Company exported its first batch of low sulfur fuel oil on May 26 with the volume of 2,986.211mt. Actually on August 15, 2019, Sinopec Jiujiang Company exported its first batch of MGO. By now, Sinopec Jiujiang Company has become the first refinery on upper and middle reaches of Yangtze River with light and heavy bunker fuel exports.

In response to the action of "one hundred days of hard work and efficiency", the company fully taps the potential of units and takes multiple measures to increase the production of low sulfur heavy fuel oil. The company actively grasps the market opportunity brought by the low sulfurization of marine fuel oil for the structural adjustment of oil refining products. Compared with the general heavy marine fuel oil, the sulfur content of low sulfur marine fuel oil decreased from 3.5% to 0.5%, which can effectively reduce the environmental pollution caused by oil products. Next, the company will communicate and coordinate with Sinopec Fuel Oil Company and further expand the capacity of LSFO.
