China LPG Import Saw Slight Increment in October 2020
According to sources, China’s LPG import volume was 1,794.23kt in October, up 0.81% M-O-M but down 1.48% Y-O-Y.

As seen from the table above, China’s LPG import volume in October increased by 14.4kt M-O-M but decreased by 27kt Y-O-Y. Therein, the propane import volume was 1,415.09kt, up 4.87% M-O-M and up 5.29% Y-O-Y. Moreover, the import volume of butane was 379.13kt in October, down 11.92% M-O-M and 20.30% Y-O-Y. Meanwhile, China’s import volume of other olefins was 0.004kt, up 74,323.33% M-O-M but down 99.71% Y-O-Y.

According to China Customs, China imported LPG mainly from the U.S., the U.A.E, Oman, Qatar and Kuwait. The imported LPG volume from the U.S. reached 740.6kt, ranking first. Hereinto, the import volume of propane was 644.3kt, and that of butane was 96.3kt. Meanwhile, China imported 382.1kt of LPG from the U.A.E., including 292.8kt of propane and 89.2kt of butane. Besides, volume of LPG imported from Oman was 271.1kt, including 173.8kt of propane and 97.3kt of butane.
