CNOOC Linxing Tight Gas Field in Shanxi Exceeds 101 bcm Proved Reserves
CNOOC announced on February 28 that Linxing Tight Gas Field in Lvliang city, Shanxi province exceeded 101 bcm of the proved reserves.
According to CNOOC, Linxing Tight Gas Field has drilled 526 wells, built 11 stations and laid 483 km of pipelines. In 2020, the gas field’s daily production of natural gas exceeded 5 mcm, and it supplied natural gas of 1.836 bcm after put into operation. In the next three years, CNOOC will strive to raise the gas field’s annual capacity and annual output to 3.3 bcma and 2.7 bcm respectively. In addition to promoting the local economic and social development, it is expected that Linxing Gas Field will directly deliver natural gas to the Xiongan New Area in July 2021, providing a guarantee for the construction of a green and low-carbon city.
