When Will the BOPET Market Stop Falling?
As of January 14, the offers for general-purpose 12μ BOPET in East China were RMB 13,310-13,610/mt, and negotiation prices of general-purpose 12μ BOPET in East China were RMB 12,810-13,010/mt, down RMB 200/mt from last week, and down RMB 850/mt from last month, and up RMB 1,800/mt from last year. Offers for general-purpose 20μ above thick film were below RMB 10,500-11,000/mt. Offers for 12μ spot resources in the retail market were about RMB 13,000-14,000/mt with VAT. The negotiation price of 6μ BOPET in North China was around RMB 19,000/mt.
