March 2022 Changes in Volume and Price in Propylene Industrial Chain
According to the transfer of volume and price in propylene industrial chain in March 2021, NBA, 2-EH, acrylic acid, acetone and ECH complied with the negative correlation logic with the opposite trend of supply volume and price. The supply volume and price of propylene, PP powder, PP granule, PO and acrylonitrile both increased.
From the supply, the supply of the products in the propylene industrial chain rose, affected by the lengthened production cycle in March. Hereinto, the output and import volume of NBA both rallied, causing the NBA supply volume to rise significantly.
From the price, prices of the products in the propylene industrial chain were mixed. Hereinto, the increment in prices of PP was relatively significant. The price of PP feedstock was high, supporting the PP price. The decrease in acrylic acid prices declined obviously, due to low efficiency of logistics and transportation and weak demand.

2. The supply and price are the data in March 2021, and the percentage is Y-O-Y change.
