Sep China ESBR Operating Rate Rose
Up to the end of September 2021, China’s ESBR producers amounted to 11, with a capacity of 1,470kt/a. The samples cover all ESBR producers in China.
September SCI Investigated ESBR Capacity Layout
The monthly average operating rate of China’s ESBR industry was 58.63% in September, up 5.25% M-O-M and down 11.6% Y-O-Y. This month, Sinopec Qilu Company restarted the unit, and the unit at PetroChina Lanzhou Petrochemical was under normal production. Shen Hua Chemical Industrial shut the unit down for maintenance. On the whole, the monthly average operating rate of China’s ESBR industry increased from last month.
In September, the operating rate at Sinopec Qilu Company, PetroChina Lanzhou Petrochemical and Hangzhou Yibang Rubber rose, while that at PetroChina Fushun Petrochemical and Shen Hua Chemical Industrial declined from last month. Other units ran steadily. The units at Tianjin Lugang Petroleum Rubber and Fujian Fuxiang Chemical remained shut.
