
U.S. Trade Representative: No Tariff Imposed on China before June

According to sources, U.S. Trade Representative Latschitzer said in an interview on March 28, that the number of formula days for the United States to impose tariff lists on China will be extended from 30 days to 60 days. In other words, China will not impose tariffs on related products before June.
On March 23rd, U.S. President Trump signed a Trade Memorandum calling for the US Trade Representative to develop a list of proposed tariffs against goods from China. The list of tariff products was planned to be imposed within 15 days, followed by no less than 30 days of publicity.
