
Styrene Anti-Dumping Preliminary and Final Rulings Comparison
China’s Ministry of Commerce announced the final result of styrene anti-dumping investigation on imported styrene originating in South Korea, Taiwan Province and the U.S. on June 22, 2018. According to the announcement, since June 23, 2018, 3.8%-55.7% anti-dumping duties will be levied when importing styrene resources from South Korea, Taiwan Province and the U.S. The execution period is five years.
Comparing the results of the preliminary and final rulings, the anti-dumping rates towards styrene resources originating in South Korea and Taiwan Province were generally reduced by 0.5%-1.8%, while those towards U.S.-origin resources increased by 3%-4.7%.
