Wanli Runda's Fuel Ethanol Project Formally Went into Operation

On November 12, Wanlilida Group and Heilongjiang Wanli Runda Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (Wanli Runda) held a ceremony to celebrate the operation of 300kt/a corn-based fuel ethanol project. This marked that the project, which was completed two months earlier than expected, successfully passed the trial run. With a total investment of 980 million RMB, this project was formally established in December 2018 and went into operation in late October 2019.

Mr. Zhao Wanli, who is the chairmen of Wanlilida Group, said that the excellent business environment and service enterprises in Baoqin, gave them confidence and determination to establish enterprise here. After the tight construction period, Wanli Runda completed all construction tasks with quality and quantity guaranteed, and successfully passed the commissioning run test. The operation of this project will provide a substantial boost to Baoqin's economy, and provide an important guarantee for Heilongjiang’s accelerated transformation and development.

The formal operation of Wanli Runda corn-based fuel ethanol project brought more cooperation opportunities. Wanli Runda signed three strategic cooperation agreements with China Railway Harbin Group Co., Ltd., Heilongjiang Railway Group Co., Ltd. and Liaoning Port Group Container Business Unit at the ceremony.

It is learned that Wanli Runda’s 300kt/a corn-cased fuel ethanol project uses corn or grain as feedstock to produce fuel ethanol and DDGS. Based on the grain depot, thermal power station and sewage treatment station, Wanli Runda established crushing workshop, liquidation workshop, fermentation workshop, distillation and dehydration workshop, feed workshop and public utility workshop. After achieving the designed capacity, this project will produce fuel ethanol of 300kt and DDGS of 2.73kt per year, achieving an output value of RMB 1.78 billion and a profit of RMB 110 million, and offering 530 employment opportunities.
