Yingkou City to Build LNG Terminal in Northeast China
China Communications Construction Corporation announced recently that its wholly owned subsidiary group company, China Urban-Rural Group, established an LNG JV with its partner Hebei Shenneng Gas to operate its LNG receiving terminal project in Northeast China’s Yingkou City in the north of Bohai Bay Rim. This 3 Mtpa project has been applied for NDRC approval and is expected to run by 2023.
The new project is designed with four 200,000-cbm LNG storage tanks and an 80,000-217,000-cbm, and other matching facilities. Moreover, the project also has a 10-Mpa 109-km pipeline connected to Yingkou’s city gate station to provide 23.5 mcm/d regas capacity to the region and connect Dalian-Shenyang main pipeline.
