PetroChina Liaohe to Produce 850kt LSFO in 2020
According to CNPC News Center, in the first eleven months of 2020, PetroChina Liaohe Petrochemical produced 780kt of LSFO. And it is predicted that PetroChina Liaohe Petrochemical, which will be the largest LSFO producer of the group, will produce 850kt of LSFO in 2020.
In February, the company seized the favorable opportunity for the implementation of the fuel oil export tax rebate policy and actively communicated with CHIMBUSCO and China National United Oil Corporation. With the strong support of Dalian Beiliang Port, PetroChina Liaohe Petrochemical became China’s first low sulfur bunker export supplier.
Due to the low sulfur characteristics of Liaohe crude oil, the sulfur content of low sulfur bunker produced by Liaohe Petrochemical is generally about 0.2%. In order to increase the output of low sulfur bunker and further expand the international market share, PetroChina Liaohe Petrochemical actively promotes the low sulfur bunker transformation project.
