August PE Output Expected to Increase amid Fewer Turnarounds
According to the statistics of SCI, the PE units related to the maintenance increased in July, and the total capacity reached 5,965kt/a. The output loss was 220.1kt, up 28.3kt from that in June. In August, the expected output loss will be 118.3kt, down 101.8kt from that in July. China’s PE output is estimated to increase in August with many units restarting.
