July China Imported Methanol Arrival Analysis
Up to July 28, the methanol inventory at China’s main ports totaled 814.8kt, down 8.57% M-O-M and down 45.33% Y-O-Y.

In July, the overall delivery volume was relatively stable at the public storage areas of Jiangsu on the back of steady restocking demand and the delay in the arrival of imported cargoes. However, in late July, influenced by the typhoon and port congestion, the transportation by ship and truck was curbed in most storage areas, and the daily delivery volume declined. Meanwhile, more inland resources arrived at coastal areas, so the methanol inventory at main ports built up in end-July.
