HIIR import volume showed cyclical fluctuations in the past 10 years. From 2011 to 2018, China’s import volume of HIIR was relatively high, but it decreased from 2018 to 2021 affected by the anti-dumping policy.
In July 2021, China’s HIIR import volume was 7,029.09mt, down 12.41% M-O-M and down 37.78% Y-O-Y. In July 2021, the monthly import volume of HIIR hit a new low in recent 10 years.
