15,000kt/a Refining-Chemical Integration Project at Risun Petrochemical to Start Construction

According to sources, the 15,000kt/a refining-chemical integration project at Risun Petrochemical will start the construction work in 2019, and products will come out in 2022. The project includes 15,000kt/a oil refining project, 2,000kt/a PX project, 1,200kt/a ethylene project, etc.

Therein, the 15,000kt/a oil refining project includes the primary processing unit, kerosene hydrogenation unit, diesel hydrogenation unit, diesel hydrocracking unit, wax oil hydrocracking unit, light naphtha separation unit, residual oil lightening unit, LPG separation unit, PSA unit, hydrogen unit, sulphur unit and sulfuric acid unit.
