Cellulosic Ethanol Industry Requires Urgently the Technology Input

On September 13, 2017, China’s NDRC and the other 14 ministries, committees and departments jointly issued the Implementation Plan to Expand Fuel Ethanol Production and Promote Vehicle Ethanol Gasoline (Hereinafter referred to as the Implementation Plan) to achieve the complete coverage of the ethanol gasoline nationwide by 2020, boosting the rapid development of the fuel ethanol industry. Thus, as a high-end clean energy, the 2-generation cellulosic ethanol was placed on great expectations by the industry for it posed no threat to food safety.
