PP Unit Status at Dalian Hengli Petrochemical

Dalian Hengli Petrochemical is located in Changxing Island, Dalian. The 450kt/a PP unit under the 20 million mt/a refining and chemical integration project is scheduled to start the test run in H2 April 2019. The unit is mainly used to produce homo PP. The grades involved mainly include PP raffia L5E89 and PP film L5D98. The products are sold by Sinopec Branch in North China.

Dalian Hengli Petrochemical Phase II newly adds 1,500kt/a ethylene project by using naphtha products under the 20 million mt/a refining and chemical integration project. Therein, it includes 400kt/a PP units with two 200kt/a production lines and 400kt/a PE units. It is expected that they will be put into use in early 2020.
