FCFC to Expand ABS Capacity Recently

Recently, Formosa Chemicals Industries (Ningbo) Co., Ltd. obtained a total of 1.789 billion RMB in ABS unit expansion and construction projects, phenol plant capacity expansion and construction projects, etc. It is expected that these projects will be completed after 2020.

It is expected that the ABS and phenol capacity will increase by 250kt/a and 100kt/a respectively in 2020, said by the vice president of FCFC Hong Fuyuan. At that time, the annual ABS capacity will be 750kt/a and the phenol capacity will be 400kt/a.

In recent years, FCFC has continued to develop high-end, high value-added special-grade products, and expanded its sales territory through the economic cooperation mechanism signed between the mainland and ASEAN.
