Light Ends Deep-Processing at Yanchang Petroleum & China Gas Starts Construction
Recently, SCI learnt that the light ends deep-processing project at Yanchang Petroleum & China Gas Chemical (Taixing) has started construction, further promoting LPG deep-processing development.
According to the first environmental impact assessment (EIA) in 2019, the investment was about 10 billion RMB, and this project mainly included 2*600kt/a PDH units, a 300kt/a PP unit and other ancillary facilities.
With this project to be put into operation, there will be new refrigerated LPG receiving terminals and tanks, and most imported LPG resources at the company will be arranged for captive use. However, there will be some low-priced imported resources flowing into the market due to the relatively low cost.
