迪拜校车将配备WiFi
道路交通局揭露50辆专为学校运营定制的校车

迪拜：道路交通局发布的校车上将配备WiFI、地理信息系统等一系列新技术。
道路交通局最近发布了校车服务，50辆校车将在下一个学年开始运营。
权威机构揭露的这些校车将是4000辆迪拜校车中的一部分，它们配备展现了一系列新技术和安全特性。
道路交通局执行委员会主席、常务董事Mattar Al Tayer和一些高级官员在这些车辆被揭露之后对它们进行了检查。
校车配备了液压悬挂系统，出入口平滑。还配有控制中心的远程追踪系统还有一个与迪拜市政专用的Makani应用兼容的导航系统。
所有的校车都是环保型的，因其发动机和欧洲4、5号规格是兼容的。校车还将运用低排放率、550ppm低硫含量的清洁柴油。校车内部装修也十分豪华，为无噪音环境，宽敞的车内空间和高级的座椅，为学生们提供加倍的舒适感。
道路交通局的下属机构迪拜出租车公司的执行董事Ahmad Khalfan Al Suwaidi说道：“校车配备了尖端的技术，比如确保孩子们在车辆行驶时的安全和保障的监控摄像头、通知家长孩子安全达到的信息发送系统、运用地理信息系统技术的追踪系统和对有权益的学术机构提供的可选WiFi服务。”
Al Tayer.说道：“学校交通是世界关键公共交通部门之一，校车每天要载上百万的学生。道路交通局参与到此次的活动中旨在为所有不同年龄阶段的学生提供安全、顺利的交通服务。也致力于在为学生提供最佳的、安全高质量的交通服务领域扮演一个领头先锋的角色，以这样的一个方式鼓励家长让孩子们乘坐公共交通运输工具，而不是私家车。这项活动也将支持阿联酋教育策略2020计划，提高学校交通服务的标杆，平衡供需。”
迪拜约151，000名学生（总学生数的60%）乘坐校车。道路交通局正致力于将这个百分比提升至70%。
作为开始，道路交通局将首先发布50辆校车，到2024年计划将数字提升至650辆。

50 buses customised for school operations unveiled by RTA

Dubai: WiFi, GIS mapping and surveillance cameras will be among a host of technologies on board school buses launched by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).
RTA launched the school bus service recently, that will be operational from the upcoming academic year, with a batch of 50 buses.
The authority unveiled the buses that will be part of around 4,000 buses on the school run in Dubai, showcasing an array of technology and safety features they are equipped with.
Mattar Al Tayer, Executive Director and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of the RTA, along with senior officials inspected the buses after they were unveiled.
The buses are fitted with hydraulic suspension systems, enabling smooth entry and exit, remote tracking system through the Operations Control Centre and a navigation system compatible with the geographical addressing system of the Dubai Municipality branded Makani.
All buses will also be environment-friendly, thanks to their engines being compatible with Euro 4 and 5 specifications. The buses will also use clean diesel, which has a low emission rate, and low sulphur content of 50 ppm. The interior of the buses have deluxe finishing, noise-free environment, ample room and luxurious seats, offering added comfort to students.
“The bus is fitted with cutting-edge technologies such as surveillance cameras to ensure the security and safety of students in transit, text messaging services to inform parents of the safe arrival of their wards, a tracking system using GIS technology, and an optional WiFi service for interested academic institutions,” said Ahmad Khalfan Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of the Dubai Taxi Corporation, a subsidiary of RTA.
“School transport is one of the key public transport sectors in the world, lifting millions of students every day. Engaging the RTA in this activity aims at providing safe and smooth transport for all students of different ages, and playing a leading role in delivering brilliant, safe and high quality services to students in such a way that encourages parents to allow their children to be transported by public transit means instead of private vehicles. It will also support the UAE Education Strategy 2020, raising the bar for school transport, and striking a balance between supply and demand,” said Al Tayer.
Around 151,000 students, which is 60 per cent of the total pupils, use school buses in Dubai and the RTA is seeking to raise this proportion to 70 per cent soon.
Initially, RTA will launch 50 buses on the school run and plans to increase the number to 650 by 2024.
