英国发现世界上最古老古兰经手稿之一

周三，英国一所大学公布，经过碳同位素定年实验，得出一本神圣的可兰经手稿的存在时代接近先知穆罕默德的生活时期（他存在的和平年代），使得手稿成为世界上最古老的手稿之一。

伯明翰大学公布，这本手稿中有两页写满伊斯兰教圣书内容的羊皮卷稿纸，内容依然清晰可辨，经测试被定出时代为7世纪初。
伊斯兰教和基督教的研究教授David Thomas说道：“对伯明翰大学古兰经的小册子的测试结果表明，那个时代的动物存活时代可以在穆罕默德先知生存的时期，或者比其稍后的时期。”
他在文章里将这本手稿的测试结果描述为令人吃惊的，并补充道：“这本手稿确实与我们今天的古兰经很相似。”
他说：“这个结果更倾向于支持现在的古兰经与早期伊斯兰教传入的可兰经的确十分相似的观点。”
Mingana收藏协会收藏的这两页手稿，包括了古兰经的18至20章，是Hijiazi在早些时候用阿拉伯语写到手稿上的。

A holy Quran manuscript has been carbon dated to close to the time of the Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him), making it one of the oldest in the world, a British university said on Wednesday.

The two leaves of parchment, filled with "surprisingly legible" text from Islam's holy book, have been dated to around the early seventh century, the University of Birmingham said.
"The tests carried out on the parchment of the Birmingham folios yield the strong probability that the animal from which it was taken was alive during the lifetime of the Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) or shortly afterwards," said David Thomas, professor of Christianity and Islam.
Describing it as a "startling result", he added that the text is "very similar indeed to the Quran as we have it today".
"This tends to support the view that the Quran that we now have is... very close indeed to the Quran as it was brought together in the early years of Islam," he said.
The leaves, held in the university's Mingana Collection, contain parts of chapters 18 to 20, written with ink in an early form of Arabic script known as Hijazi.
