迪拜：官员透露，迪拜水族馆号称全球最大鱼缸之一，目前在又在已有成千上万种鱼类的容积为1千万升的鱼箱种新添了一些新鱼种。
为了补充现有的200种鱼类和其他海洋生物，已经打电话到水族馆将新加勒比海鲨鱼添加到鲨鱼和鳐鱼混合鱼缸中。
据迪拜水族馆馆经理说：“锤头鲨族中最小的成员是丫髻鲛或窄头双髻鲨。”
水族馆官员在上周日发表的一份声明中说：“源自加勒比海海域平均长度为30-50英寸（70-127cm）的丫髻鲛，体重可达24磅（10.8千克）。它们生活在河口，浅海湾，沙滩和珊瑚礁等栖息地。”

Dubai: One of the world’s largest fish tanks, the Dubai Aquarium, has added a few new friends to the thousands of fish already present in the 10-million litre tank, say officials.
To complement the existing 200 species of fish and other marine life that already call the aquarium home, a phalanx of new Caribbean sharks have been added into the mix of sharks and rays.
Dubai Aquarium has welcomed what aquarium managers said are “the smallest members in the hammerhead shark family, the ‘bonnethead or shovelhead sharks’.
“The bonnethead sharks from the Caribbean seas average 30-50 inches (70-127cm) in length and weigh up to 24 pounds (10.8kg). They are naturally seen at estuaries, shallow bays, sand flats and coral reef habitats,” said aquarium officials in a statement on Sunday.
